Yet another Egret, this one decided the tree was a good place to escape the horrible photographer.

I spent the afternoon at my parents farm today, and after harrassing all the local Cattle Egrets for about half an hour, I managed to come away with a couple of really nice in flight shots.

Setting the AF to AI servo and switching it to only the center AF point achieved some nice crisp images even with my cheap 55-200mm lens that came with the camera.

When you first see it, you’d be forgiven for thinking it is yet another brightly coloured, ball shaped, web cam; but it’s designers hope that it is going to become the next big thing in pop digital photography. Read the rest of this entry »
